Gold was not just a supporter of our cause—he was family. A proud Pastafarian, he used humor as his compass, reason as his guide, and compassion as his message. Through his bold voice, he championed free thought, critical inquiry, and the right to speak truth to power, even when it was uncomfortable or dangerous.

“He lived boldly, spoke fearlessly, and challenged the world with wit,” the PPC shared. “We condemn in the strongest terms this act of senseless violence against a man who wielded only words, never weapons.”

Though taken from us far too soon, Gold’s voice echoes still—in the laughter he sparked, the minds he moved, and the courage he inspired. His legacy lives on in every act of satire that speaks truth, and in every effort to build a kinder, more rational world.
